This is more than 40% better than a year ago (number of property transactions was 8700 then), and almost 70% better then the worst period after the financial crisis, in 2013.
This year's accumulated residential property transaction number is over 68,300. Calculating with the seasonality and the new government incentive "CSOK" for Hungarian home buyers, the transaction number can reach over 150,000 by the end of the year.
Clearly, the slow years of the residential property market in Budapest are over, and it is, without a doubt, on the rise again.
